Updates

February 2015

A large number of updates and modifications have been carried out since last April, the most significant of which
are the addition of a Search Facilty for the Archives and the future-proofing of the code by upgrading to php5.5.
(This is of no interest to anyone else other than the Archivist who is rather proud of both!)

April 2014

Despite pause in listing of updates, during last 8 months,
a large number of major and minor updates have been implemented.
Centenary Reunion pages added (admin of associated database and mailings has distracted the Archivist from listing the updates).
[31740] to [32012] added - donated or loaned by David Worth, Geoff Barraclough and Christine Bartle. Thank you.
List of Scout Camps and Map updated and corrected.
Memory of Great Tower Camp (1958) added. Thank you Martin Smith.
Menu system given a slap - it could do some strange things.
Leader List updated.
Trophy Winners updated.

August 2013

Leaders page and Group Committee pages updated - based on information received from Gilwell.
List of Scout Camps and Map updated and corrected.
List of VSU camps updated/corrected and Map added.

Menu system overhauled.
Images and text added to "Collections".
"Updates" listed in reverse chronological order.
"Favicon" (for IE) added.
Site Index added.
Numerous page titles revised.
Sitemap added and site submitted to Google, Yahoo and Bing.

July 2013

Annual Census page added and menu updated.
Videos page updated.
Awards (Leaders and Supporters) - Image and explanatory text added.
Awards (Rovers, Senior Scouts, Venture Scouts, Scouts, Cubs and Beavers) - restructured and updated.
Leader Record updated and references to Explorers removed.
Group Committee updated several times.
Audio Page reworked - caused by discontinuation of online audio plugin - replaced with a Flash player.
"Damper/Stumps/LIX Express Collection" - image and explanatory text added.

May 2013

Audio Page completed.
Video of Summer Camp 1964 (Newtownards) added.
Leaders and Supporters Awards completely revised (based on Awards Boards in HQ) - there are still
some areas of doubt.
Individual Awards - Rovers, Senior, Venture, Scout, Cub and Beaver revised (based on Awards Boards in HQ) -
again there are still some areas of doubt.

Various minor corrections.

I am aware that there does not appear to be a missing link (404) page.
It is not my fault! - I'm in discussion with the server provider.
